This week we are talking all about how to transition from summer style, to fall style. It can be tricky when the weather is constantly changing throughout the day. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, right behind Christmas season. Who doesn't love putting on a cute and cozy outfit and going on a fall outing? What is your favorite fall activity? I personally love spooky movies, cider & donuts, pumpkins, colorful leaves, haunted houses, and cozy coffee shops. Honestly, I could go on and on about how much I'm obsessed with fall!
When it comes to transitioning from summer fashion to fall fashion, it is important to analyze your personal style and find what you look for in a fall outfit. Do you strive for cozy or chic.. or both? Do you accessorize or keep it basic? Is layering a must or no? At First Harvest, we choose items with every stylish girl in mind.
Sweater Weather.. of course!
Sweaters are an absolute must during the fall time. I go crazy for sweaters because they are so comfortable, cozy, and can be dressed up or down. I typically advise people to buy sweaters a size up for a cozier effect. But do what makes you comfortable because either way is super cute. Wear sweaters with jeans or leggings!
LAYERING
Layering is perfect when you want to take an outfit from an 8 to a 10! It makes it appear as if you put a lot of effort into your look when in reality, you simply threw on a trendy kimono or cardigan. Additionally, with the weather being unpredictable, you can wear your kimono/cardigan for those chilly mornings and take it off in the afternoon if the sun is shining bright.
Unique Denim
Jeans have been a thing since the beginning of fashion basically. So it can be difficult to dress unique when every single person owns a pair of jeans.
